TakeAir provides the greater Houston area with air duct and entire HVAC system cleaning services.
Dirty coils in your air-conditioning system lead to less efficiency, and worse. A less efficientsystem means higher energy bills, and over time can even lead to a shutdown in the system altogether. Coil cleaning is an essential part of air conditioner maintenance and keeping your system running smoothly.
Dirty coils make your compressor work harder
When it comes to your air-conditioning system, no one part is more essential than the compressor. Dirty coils can make your compressor work harder, eventually leading to a complete shutdown. Replacing the compressor can be very costly. Compression of the refrigerant in your system is the main source of energy demand. The hotter the refrigerant when reaching the compressor, the more energy is required when pushing it through the condenser. Keeping your coils clean can help to reduce the amount of energy required to run your compressor.
TakeAir coil cleaning services, thorough and complete
Here is what we do:
To start with, we make sure the A/C unit itself is shut down completely, both from thermostat and the disconnection switch.
Next, all access panels to the coils are removed.
We then do a cleaning of the evaporator and the condenser coils, vacuuming hem thoroughly.
A good pressure washing on both sides of the coils follows until the coils are cleaned completely and all air passages are cleared to allow for maximum air flow.
After we remove all water residues, the unit is then reassembled.
While the coils are now clean, we make sure to clean the drain lines and drip pans as well to assure the pump lines are clear.
Your coils are now cleaned and your unit is ready to go back online.
