EPA findings on green air duct cleaning
While the EPA cannot state outright that routine air duct cleaning is a must, it does however say that there are benefits to having your air ducts cleaned both in your home and your office. And it agrees that doing so without using toxic chemicals is both good for you and the environment.
The National Air Duct Cleaners Association agrees. NADCA president Michael Vinick recommends homeowners to clean their ducts once every 3 to 5 years. “If you have allergies or asthma, you should consider having it done almost annually,” says Vinick.
Going Green means doing it the old fashioned way
That’s right, even in today’s modern age it seems the best way to do things is to just jump right in and use a little elbow grease. At TakeAir USA Inc. we don’t use any harmful chemicals or toxins to make the job easier. Making our job easier doesn’t help you any.
Instead, we jump right in and do it the old-fashioned way, brushing and vacuuming your air ducts and vents until we eradicate that harmful dust and mold buildup. Putting some muscle into the job means no hazardous vapors will be blowing on you when the job is done.
